The food here was delicious! Small bites ranging from $7-20 dollars and you order multiples to share. The cocktails were also very yummy and had some great seasonal options. We did have a small issue with the waiter not knowing how to sub a vegan option but manager Evan was so helpful to correct the situation and instantly informed his staff how to make those options available! He even contacted me afterwards to make sure the situation was righted. I would recommend giving this place a try!

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! This place is a gem! Authentic Italian food. Exactly what I like...shareable plates! First time here and we will DEFINITELY be back! Growing up in Brooklyn.....I search for food like this. We had the stuffed mushrooms, burnt broccolini, garlic bread, baked capriese (HOLY MOLY).... Could have made a meal out of this baked capriese...Amazing!! The radiatori vodka...DELICIOUS!! Chicken parm also very good!! Had to top the dinner off with their dark chocolate bardino OMG!!! Ok .... I'm not eating anything tomorrow!!!

Pelato is just a whole MOOD. This was my first time eating here and it was a lot of fun - great drinks, super cool (and massive) spot, excellent service. We grabbed a Reposado Espresso Martini at the bar while we waited for the rest of our party -- it was AMAZING. Our bartender was funny, had some good recommendations for our dinner, and made a mean drink. Our table was in the back and down the stairs and it was a fun space. I liked that they had the patio, "upstairs" and "downstairs" for different dining experiences. Recommendation: * Vodka radiatori - a little spicy and SO DANG GOOD. * Mozzarella - get the bread to go with it, doesn't come with a vessel * Burnt broccolini - this was a pleasant surprise, so tasty! * Stuffed mushrooms - a classic but super flavorful here * Chicken marsala - another classic with good flavor, fun to eat with the potatoes * Fusili pesto - this had mixed reviews at our table but I loved it * Calamari - I couldn't eat due to cross-contamination, but the table was very happy with this one Meh dishes: * Chicken parm - we were disappointed, it was missing the crunch and the 'wow'. I'd say it was just ok * Cacio e pepe - it was missing some moisture, good flavor but too dry

Super cute restaurant, and I love the idea of Brooklyn inspired, Italian style tapas. It's definitely on the pricier end, and some items are hit or miss, but one thing is for certain, they have the BEST vodka sauce you'll ever have. In terms of amount of food, I think ordering 2-3 items per person is about right, as long as you come prepared to eat! The pasta dishes are on the smaller side, but your goal here should definitely be to try as many things as you can. you may not like them all, but they're worth a taste! Here's what we tried: -Vodka Sauce Radiatori: 100/10 - incredible, I have never had better vodka sauce than this one. It was complex, slightly sweet but not too much, incredibly flavorful, and masterfully smooth. The pasta shape is my favorite, but it also just works perfectly with the sauce and adds a nice mouthfeel to a creamy dish. DON'T MISS THIS! -Creamy Polenta & Bolognese Sauce: 8/10 - The texture of this is so soft and creamy in the mouth, and it comes out warm and generously large for tapas. The flavor is akin to a lasagna bolognese, but in a classic, comforting way. -Garlic Bread: 4/10 - I would skip this for sure. The bread is hard (not in a good, crunchy way), and barely garlicky. She also asked if we wanted marinara dip with it, we said yes, but it was never brought out. -Cacio e Pepe: 4.5/10 - I wanted to like it, but the sauce was not only too salty but it was too thick and floury, almost like a poorly done béchamel. I enjoy a bucatini normally, but my friend said the pasta was much too chewy for her, and while I don't have a huge problem with a bit of bite or chew, it definitely wasn't a well cooked bucatini. The pepper flavor was good, but the rest of the dish did not deliver. -Burnt Broccolini: 9.5/10 - Wow, this was some amazing broccolini. The stem ends were still a little soft to the bite, but the shoots were charred and crispy. The shining star was the umami, soy based Asian-style sauce that the broccolini came in, which just burst with flavor in your mouth. -Crispy Calamari: 6/10 - This was good calamari; crispy, slightly fishy, not too chewy. It also came with some sautéed bell pepper slices. The only qualm I had with it was the green dipping sauce it came in tasted mostly of mayo (slight pesto aftertaste?) with a texture similar to gloopy hair gel. -Nutella Gelato: 7.5/10 - As far as gelatos go, it was good! The nutella taste was light but definitely present, and the texture was creamy. It came with 3 medium-sized scoops. I wish there was some added texture or variation, perhaps with a swirl of real nutella, but I have no complaints about the gelato itself.

Our server was so wonderful! She anticipated our every need and she was so professional while also being so fun! It was our friends birthday and she made us feel so special! I would come back 1. for the food, it was delicious and 2. for our server! she was just so wonderful and so fun! We kind of wanted to go out to the bars with her lol

We got there a little early but the hostess was kind enough to seat us before our reservation time. Our waitress came over to us right away which was awesome! We decided to start with the cheesy garlic bread, and that was delicious, as it had just the right amount of cheese. We then ordered the pasta with ragu (meat sauce), and that was unbelievable and we wish we could've had more! The pasta with vodka sauce came out and their vodka sauce is one of a kind! It's rich and creamy, but not overwhelming. The chicken parm was probably our favorite dish of the night. The chicken was perfectly cooked with a lot of sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese. The meatballs were also very tasty! Overall, we had a great date night! Would definitely recommend. We can't wait to go back and try their brunch which looks delicious!

Had a great dinner at Pelato tonight! We stumbled upon it while we were down the street getting drinks and decided to check it out. The atmosphere is great - old school Italian but with a modern touch. We sat at the bar and had a great time but they also have outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating as well. Service was speedy and super nice. We ordered the broccolini, stuffed mushrooms, garlic bread, and Campanelle Verde which was perfect to split between two of us. Literally everything was amazing. In particular the broccolini was unlike anything I've had before - so good! We will definitely be coming back and bringing more people next time! Thanks so much!

First time coming here and it didn't disappoint. It's also a lot bigger than it seems on the outside. The staff was really nice and the food was delicious. We were told to order 2 to 3 plates bc they are smaller and negative for sharing. There was 3 of us abs we ordered waay too much food but it was sooo good. I ordered the stuff mushrooms (5 stars), chicken parm (4.5 stars), and fusilli pesto pasta (4 stars). I will definitely be back. This restaurant is great for a date or small group.
